GHC Air
A planned private-aviation facility on the field. The intended offering is Jet-A and 100LL fuel on site and dedicated customs and immigration handling for private arrivals. Details and opening date will be published here when confirmed. Until then, private aircraft use the main terminal for clearance.
The field
By boat
About 120 nautical miles east of Miami and 70 from Bimini. Most crossings take the Gulf Stream via Bimini or Chub Cay, then run in through the cut on the western side.
The marina clears customs and immigration at the dock, monitors VHF 16 and 14, and holds sixty-five slips for vessels up to 150 feet.
Airport
GHC / MYBG. Renovated terminal reopened December 2022. Airport of entry, four miles from Bullocks Harbour.
Customs
On site at both the airport and the marina. Arriving from Florida, you clear into the country here; arriving from Nassau, you have already cleared there.
Private aviation
GHC Air is planned for the field. Until it opens, private aircraft clear at the main terminal.
Getting around
There are a few taxis on the island. Reserve a golf cart or car through the marina before you arrive — call or WhatsApp 242-451-2007 — and it can be waiting at the terminal. Hotels and lodges arrange airport pickup for guests when you book.
