Day 2
Wild cays & island secrets
A guided hike on Lignumvitae Cay’s miles of tropical trails, then take the wheel on a UTV tour of Cistern Cay and its fascinating smuggling-era history. Drivers 16+ with a licence.
Day 3
Bonefishing the flats
Guided fly fishing on the world-class shallow flats around Great Harbour Cay, with Soul Fly Lodge or a local guide.
Day 4
Deep-sea adventure
Offshore fishing for wahoo, mahi-mahi and tuna, conditions and season permitting.
Day 5
Southern cays safari
Cruise with a Bahamian captain, refreshments aboard, to crystal-clear waters to observe sea turtles and rays. Wildlife sightings vary. Add lunch at Flo’s on Little Harbour Cay; call ahead on VHF 68.
Day 6
Hoffman’s Cay blue hole
Boat trip to the spectacular inland blue hole, swim and explore; optional island lunch.
Day 7
One more beach day
Slow morning on Sugar Beach, swim, stroll, and savour a final island sunset.
Excursions are guided and weather-dependent. Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed.
Arriving by boat
Clear in at the dock, then cruise the Berries.
The best hurricane hole in the Bahamas makes an easy home port: sixty-five slips, customs and immigration at the dock, and fuel, ice and laundry on site.
- Spend a night on the hook off Hoffman’s Cay, or tuck in behind Ambergris Cay when the wind picks up.
- Paddle Shark Creek on the tide for baby sharks, rays and turtles.
- Run your own boat south to Flo’s Conch Bar for lunch.
